Come and worship with us and get connected with others. Our worship services are a time we come together to corporately worship God and study His Word, but we know that there is so much more. Some of our greatest needs are very specific and God may meet that need in a small group or through a specific ministry. Also, some of the greatest growth in our lives will occur when we involve ourselves in the work of the ministry.
At Church On The Rock we are blessed to have many different ministries, each with a specific purpose and function. These ministries are here to serve you (and to offer a place for God to use you in service) to equip you to accomplish all that God has for you.
Youth 180 Student Ministry (Ages 12 to college age) is our ministry to youth. Through the use of multi media, drama, music, and relevant Biblical Teaching, we take on issues that the youth of today face. We have monthly events outside of the Thursday meeting to bring our youth together. 180 Degrees meets the first Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Youth Sanctuary.
Kingdom Kidz (Ages 6 - 11) is just one of our Children's ministries. Who said Church isn't fun? As a Church, we have a responsibility and a great opportunity to pour ourselves into the next generation. Our children are our greatest mission field. Through the use of music, games, puppets, multi media, and other fun tools, we share the love and hope of Christ with children. Kingdom Kidz meets during our Sunday Morning Worship Service, and Kingdom Klub meets every Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
Kingdom Kidz Under Construction (Ages 0 - 5) At Church on the Rock , we have a loving nursery and pre-school type classrooms where your children will be taken care of and loved. We have qualified teachers that have a heart for children, and will minister to your child. Our KKUC is open on Sunday Mornings from 9:45 until the end of Service.
Young at Heart Seniors Ministry is our ministry that brings seniors together for fun and fellowship. Enjoy great company and fun activities. Please check the monthly calendar for activity dates and times.
Women's Ministry is our ministry that brings women together for fun, fellowship, to study God's Word, and to encourage one another. Please click here for more information.
Men's Fellowship is our ministry that connects the men of Church On The Rock. Men come together to study God's Word, for activities, for fellowship, and for encouragement. The Ambassadors For Christ Men's Breakfast is held on the second Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall and the Men's Bible Study is held the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Children's Room. God's Original Plan is our ministry that teaches and informs the Body of Christ of their Jewish roots. God's plan of redemption includes all people (Jews and Gentiles alike). Throughout the year, God's Original Plan will teach on the various celebrations, feasts and festivals found in the book of Leviticus. This in depth teaching uncovers many deep and profound truths that reveal God's Original Plan for each of our lives. For more informaton, contact Pastors Bruce and Marlene.
Food Ministry (Care House) is our ministry that provides food to those in need. As an Equal Opportunity Provider, our Care House is there to serve the residents of Flagler County. We are currently the largest USDA distributor in Flagler County. In addition to providing food to residents of our county, our Care house is equipped to offer additional assistance to anyone who is homeless in our community. A homeless person who comes into the Care House can use our shower facilities, receive a clean change of clothes, toiletries, blankets, and of course, food.
Jail Ministry is our ministry to the Flagler County Jail. Each week we reach out to those in the Flagler Jail with the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
Care Groups are groups that meet for fellowship and to study God's Word. Throughout the year, we offer Care Groups that focus on marriage and family. Please check the monthly calendar for information on Care Groups in session and for information on upcoming Care Groups.
Care and Share Care Group is for those who which to develop a close relationship with Jesus and with each other through interactive Bible-centered devotionals, personal sharing activities and Christian fellowship.
Joy Belles is a Ladies' group that meets together for fun, fellowship, friendship, emotional and prayer support AND a sense of purpose. We work together to bring joy to others as we create cards for special occasions for those in our church family, and wrap little gifts for delivery to those in need of visitation. We meet every Tuesday afternoon from 1 - 3 pm.
Music Ministry is not just about music, it is about Praise and Worship. We are blessed to have talented and anointed people to lead us into the presence of God. If you play an instrument or sing and would like to join our Worship team, please contact the Praise and Worship Leader - Shirley Martin.
Sanctuary Ministry are ministries that work to serve those attending a Worship Service at Church On The Rock. We are blessed to have many people serving in these important ministries. Please pray about getting involved in these ministries: Ushers and Greeters, Sound and Video Team, Hospitality Café (provides refreshments and information to first time visitors), and building and sanctuary maintenance.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry is about praying for a move of God. At Church On The Rock we believe that prayer is powerful and effective. Our Prayer Ministry, led by the Holy Spirit, keeps our many needs before the throne of God. Call the Church Office with any prayer requests or more information, ask for Barbara Huhn.
